Hello There!!!
Let’s talk about Raksha bandhan this time. It’s just around the corner, and it’s a celebration of the lovely and sardonic relation between a brother and sister. This festival and every festival and celebration calls for dressing up and looking our best with putting minimal efforts.
Most of you would still be in a dilemma as to what to wear from the huge pile of clothes that mom and other online stores has put in front of you. Let me help you here, I’ve been there myself, so here’s a few tips and looks I have for all of you which are neither too traditional nor too western.
SO the first look …
For this look I borrowed a flared cotton palazzo from my mommy’s wardrobe. Well, I am a fan of flared palazzos, it looks stylish and are super comfortable. Then, I decided to flaunt the layering this festive season by pairing it up with this blue captivating ikat print shrug. I just love it’s asymmetric hem which gives a bit of sass to my outfit. And btw don’t be afraid to wear print on print, it looks great.

Look 2:
This look is for those girls who wants to look and feel like a devoted sister alomg with showing off a bit of glamour on Rakhi. This green dress is step forward to urbane-inspired ethnic trend and it is beautifully designed with a pleated tired falls and tasselled detail on the shoulder.
As this dress is covering my whole body, I wanted to show perfect amount of skin I decided to tie my hair rather than keeping it open. Also, its perfect for the one’s who love to twirl and swirl.

Look 3:
This is one of my favourite looks ,its colourful, comfortable and so effortless. Here I am wearing my wide leg cream trouser with basic white camisole, layered with traditional handwork jacket which I bought from local shop of Udaipur. To give more traditional touch to this fusion look, added silver choker.

Look 4:
This look is for those girls who dislikes traditional as it bring along quite a bit of hassle of handling dupattas , but still wants to rock this festive season. Layering long line ikat jacket with casual top and denim.

Look 5:
A palazzo and duppata is not just for pairing with kurtas. To break this rule I paired them with ruffled sleeves white shirt. And because of more volume of ruffled sleeves and duppata. Accessories are optional.

Look 6:
Kurtas will never be out of style, so I paired it up with a dhoti creating a silhouette look . Added a golden dupatta as an embellishment To my dhoti kurta.
